The answer is to improve torque from idle. One way is to increase air flow. The throttle, a flap that regulates air, will not have to be opened as much as before, if the air flow density before it is made higher. The Surbo, with its output jets to compress air, and internal vortex to pull air in from the air intake, makes this possible. The engine management system senses the increased air flow, and adjusts the fuel input accordingly. The result is a bigger engine effect, with more air and fuel to match, unlike the old flat spots or wasted fuel while trying to get the car going.
The Surbo increases torque at all engine speeds from idle, and as power equals torque times rpm, the power is increased, and it takes the engine to its RPM limit with 1/2 throttle! You will never have to floor the accelerator again. Engine flexibility is increased at any rpm. While cruising, the accelerator (which controls the throttle opening) becomes feather-touch, and when driving hard, it is razor sharp.
The Surbo provides a really pleasant driving experience, because your foot will not be tired and you can press the accelerator with alacrity, and get rewarded with timely reactions. Come try it today!
