If you are selling direct to the next owner of your car, and your Surbo is in good working condition, your car will command better value as it is more enjoyable to drive with the Surbo. Please show him how to maintain and operate the Surbo, or mention this website to him so that he can contact us for service later. If however, you are not selling directly, but perhaps through a car dealer, it's best to remove the Surbo and use it on your subsequent vehicle.
5. Removal: When you change cars, you can remove your Surbo for future use. You might DIY with simple tools easily in minutes. This will save you the drive-in time and cost. If you really cannot remove the Surbo yourself, or if we think it's better that we do it for you, please make an appointment for removal.
6. Reinstallation for Surbo users. This is charged at $30 per hour. Most cars need less than an hour. This continues the lifetime warranty of the Surbo and will help you save fuel so it is worth it. This offer is only for customers who had bought the Surbo brand new from us, and does not apply to used Surbos obtained from elsewhere, for example, scrapyards. Our advice is not to buy from sellers without installation. In any case, the Surbo requires an expert installation, because your air chamber has many unseen gaps that require skill to patch, and unscrupulous sellers must not be trusted.
