LTA compliant car part: Surbo
The Surbo, fitted in the air intake of the engine, complies with the LTA requirement that it does not increase emissions (please check the One Motoring website for the types of alterations that are allowed, and not allowed). This page shows reduced emissions per km due to Surbo. Vehicles equipped with the Surbo will pass inspections since the Surbo lowers emissions from petrol or diesel vehicles.
For cars under warranty, there is no worry as Surbo installation does change any part of the car permanently. There will be no cutting, as the Surbo is inserted along the air intake. No one has reported loss of a warranty due to the Surbo.
