Advantages of Surbo For Automatic Vehicles
The Surbo starts charging the incoming air even from idle, and storing it in the oil chamber, which is connected from the Surbo via the engine oil breathers (in orange), as shown in the diagram below. The result is instant acceleration from standstill (by taking the charged air via the oil breather), and faster pickup and higher revving if desired. The lessened accelerator pressure improves the fuel economy by 10 percent on average.
